Face Value

They Baffle Me
At times with Words
At times with Actions
At times with Intentions..

I wonder if choosing friends,
understanding them was any easier..
With Vices they are what they are,
but expect me to be at my best..
Sorry but that's not the deal,
I have a few vices and rest..

Accept if You may too..
I wish for your happiness but
My Life does not work
as You want it to..

Draw the Line I will,
and tell You what I Feel..
Let me also see if You can take it
and deserve to be with me..

Sail or Sink this Friendship,
Life brings us too many..
None go till the end,
its only Heart and the Memories.

Simply awesome ... Really liked it :)

As usual, softening of the fury behind what drove this expression. Nice people really need to let it go sometimes... well at least with people who deserve it.

@Vikas - Thanks
@SJ - Deserve or not but thats how life is !!

Life is a bubble... no definition suffices except it blows, flows n then it bursts.

Draw the lines, if you have to
Say, what you feel!
If, your friendship is dear to them..
they will have to take out their veil..

what say? :P

@SJ - I think Life is a combination of bubbles.. one bursts other come n then few more.. n they keep coming..

@Kunal - True

i mean as a rant i completely follow wat ur sayin bt wen it cums to action can u jus dictate guidelines wid heres d tenets of frnship?
or if u dislike sumthin abt ur frns a certain way, can u jus say- ok hey buddy dis wont wrk.
can u?
more importantly, wudn dat mk d friction more pronounced?

Well if its a combination, then I don't think its the combination that's bothering you. Its one bubble that burst unexpectedly that drives this.
Sometimes you need to just go to the top of the building and scream out... and sometimes you need to pick up the phone and let them have it.

too true to ignore... however, when the flour goes through the sieve, its the bad one's that are left out and the good ones form something betta.. :) ...

@Sadiya - No there aren't any rules and none can be set too in friendship but one can certainly tell them a few things that are not acceptable from even a friend no matter how good he/she is.. it might bring friction might not, even if it does it would def help in the long run.. we don't want just a fair weather friend do we??

@SJ - Yes, one ponders over one or more bubbles every now and then.. and this hasn't driven me to the top of any building to scream... its more like - "Excuse me but.. aah I think u missed out my perspective.. would you mind hearing to it"

@Menachery - Terse :) reminded me of what I used to say years ago.. Thanks for reading.. !!

Good one! Friendship is the easiest relationship mainly because it is our choice... Every choice comes with its pack of likes & dont likes. An invisible line does exist even between the two most closest people because it ensures space, which is a must for an individual. Having said that, friendship probably is where you can easily share feedback and still continue... again depends on the maturity of the two and the friendship. we get many friends in life, but each one teaches you a different thing...life is but @ this moment, so let's cherish it the most :)

nice post !!! but i guess friendship is one relation we normally dont put our brains in .... it's just there kyunki har ek friend jaroori hota hai. ;)
if you are deciding to make friends with someone [ofcourse using your brains] u ought to face circumstances

Aw. Friends really know how to cheer us up or pull us down. But the decision should always be yours..

People care not to accept who we are...we are what we are and that's how we should be accepted, no?
